A few weeks ago I got infected by Vundo (also known as Vundo, Virtumondo). I tried all of the Vundo removal tools but none of them were successful. I noted the suspicious, random named and probably infected files from windows startup. I removed them from dos but they came back with new names after startup...
I tried everything but I could not clean this. I have not seen an unremovable trojan horse like this so far. I was going to format my windows but lastly I wanted to try an antisypyware program called SuperAntispyware. It is not a well known antispyware program but its free version really cleaned Vundo completely.
Anyways, download its free version below and update it before scanning. After removing Vundo, update your Java because Vundo infects victims' computers by exploiting a vulnerability in Sun Java 1.5 and earlier versions.
